NWDC reaches around 2,000 children each year with programs designed to provide them with meaningful, often life-changing experiences in the natural world. Our guided hikes, study groups and other programs draw in over 1,000 adults from throughout Pueblo County and beyond. Our Horseshoe Lodge Retreat Center attracts groups from Pueblo, throughout Colorado and throughout the country for multi-day retreats.

Donations

Donations can help support specific projects or programs, they allow us to offer scholarships for youth to get out in Nature, or they can help with NWDC’s general operations, including the development of new programs, the stewardship of our campuses, and the many other services that NWDC provides.
