Due to the destruction of the Aspen Acres Fire, the Pueblo Mountain Park and NWDC's Mountain Campus are now closed to the public. NWDC has moved all program and admin operations to the River Campus in Pueblo.

Overwintering wasps, wiry lichen clinging to fallen bark, pillowy moss growing between cracks in rocks, and many, many Ponderosa pine cones.
