Even in mid-October as many of Mother Nature’s processes begin to slow, there is still plenty of ecological activity taking place.
On our annual Vulture Day celebration on September 6th, we invited the public to help us release 13 Mississippi Kites back into the wild.
Though not a particularly birdy day, it was lovely weather and good company of 23 people on the August 27 AVAS bird walk.
