On October 28, 2023, 13 participants saw 14 bird species. Weather was sunny from 35 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit temperature range.
This fall, our Earth Studies students got to see incredible biodiversity firsthand on their first trip of the year to visit us!
Beulah School of Natural Sciences (BSNS) recently kicked off the school year with their first visit to the Pueblo Mountain Park!
On September 23, 2023, 18 participants saw 22 bird species and one frog in the river. We had great weather – 60 to 70 degrees mostly sunny.
Our Vulture Day celebration on Saturday, September 2nd was a huge success with interactive exhibits for everyone to enjoy!
On September 9, 2023, 11 people participated in the bird walk on a lovely morning at the NWDC-River Campus.
August 21-24 marked the return of the Outdoor Explorations Program to the NWDC River Campus for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center (NWDC) is hosting three (3) “Dessert & Dialogue” community listening sessions this September 2023 as part of its strategic planning process.
