December 2023 – Ranger Ramblings

Recent snowfall had provided a surge of moisture for the moss to absorb, leaving the north-facing wall of the canyon lush and green.

On October 28, 2023, 13 participants saw 14 bird species. Weather was sunny from 35 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit temperature range.

September 23, 2023 AVAS Bird Walk

On September 23, 2023, 18 participants saw 22 bird species and one frog in the river. We had great weather – 60 to 70 degrees mostly sunny.
