Fish Tales Fishing Camp!
Campers entering 3rd-5th: Let your child craft their very own fishing tale during NWDC’s beginners’ fishing camp! By camps’ end, they will master the essentials of fishing, knot tying, fish identification, and tackle box packing. We will also embark on an exciting tour of our state’s fish hatchery. Join us for a “reel-y” good time as we partner with Colorado Parks and Wildlife to make this fishing experience a true catch!

Camp location details: This camp will take place at our River Campus in Pueblo and at the Lake Pueblo State Park fish hatchery and surrounding areas.

Please Note: At this camp we will be practicing “catch & release”, so we will be using barbless hooks to help prevent harm to the fish.

Step 2: Please be sure that you have received our confirmation email. This email will contain all of your registration details. Remember to check your “junk” folder because some email providers will try to place it there.
Summer Camp Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made within 30-15 days before the first day of the camp will be fully refundable minus a $10.00 deposit. Cancellations made within 14-7 days before the camp start date will forfeit 50% of the total cost of camp. We are sorry, but we cannot give any refund when there is a cancellation 0-7 days before the camp start date. Thank you for your understanding of our cancellation policies.
