The Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center (NWDC) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to develop a streamlined and efficient data infrastructure that reduces the number of programs and systems currently utilized by the organization. We invite you to submit a proposal.
A highlight of the past month for me was hiking with a group of kids from the Boys and Girls Club to the top of Lookout Point.
On the morning of Friday 24, 2024 at the NWDC River Campus along the Arkansas River, 24 participants observed a total of 17 bird species.
NWDC would like to recognize Zane Groom, who has transitioned into the role of Maintenance & Facilities Manager as of February 13th.
NWDC Raptor Center Director Diana Miller drew a beautiful red-tailed hawk out from a portable carrier and held it up for all to see.
On the crisp, cold Saturday morning of January 27, 2024, a total of 15 participants identified 30 species of birds at the NWDC River Campus.
While many aspects of nature slow down in the colder months, we can still observe the many creatures that are still out and about.
