Snowy hike 2This hike is a great way to begin the New Year — be outside, get some exercise, meet new friends, learn some things about nature – start the new year off right!

Registration required! Family friendly. Please check the weather and dress accordingly.

*Please note that registration is required to secure your spot. Walk-ups are welcome but not guaranteed a spot on the hike in the event that maximum program capacity has been reached. 
*Cancellations requested 14-8 days before the program start date will be fully refundable. We are sorry, but we cannot give any refunds when there is a cancellation 0-7 days before the program start date. 
*Weather Cancellation policy: In the event of inclement weather, we may have to cancel this event. Registered guests will be notified ASAP and a refund will be issued.

A lifelong outdoorsman, David Martin (AKA Ranger Pine) has been an Environmental Educator at the Pueblo Mountain Park for the last decade. His passion is connecting people of all ages to Nature. Although his time is mostly dedicated to executing the elementary level education programs and camps at the Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center’s mountain and river campuses, he also writes, teaches and guides hikes on the side, most notably guiding seasonal forages for wild mushrooms and medicinal herbs of the mountain and canyon west.
