Pre-Yule Log Celebration Snowshoe Hike!

With Ranger Pine

December 8, 2019

‘Tis the season! If there is snow, we will enjoy a snowshoe in the park. If not, then we will take a nice hike before Beulah’s annual Yule Log Festival* at the historic Mountain Park pavilion. Either way we plan to make the most of this lovely winter day!

Registration required! Appropriate for ages 10 and up. Beginners welcome. Snowshoes will be provided if you do not have your own.

Please check the forecast and be sure to bring a few warm layers, a water bottle, a snack if you need it and snow boots or waterproof hiking boots.

*The Beulah Yule Log Festival takes place in the Mountain Park in Beulah, centering the festival around an 8 foot long pine log that is hidden in the park months before the day.  Sometimes it is buried in the snow, and sometimes it might be hidden in an upright position.  Much fanfare and music begins the program of this 67 year tradition of celebration!

Make it a holiday weekend getaway and add an overnight experience to your hike! Plus you’ll beat the crowd to the Yule Log Festivities. Book a room at our cozy, historic Horseshoe Lodge!
