Please join NWDC on our First Annual Father’s Day Hike!
Celebrate dad with exploration of the outdoors. Time spent on the trail is when the best memories are made! Bring the whole family and nurture a love for nature. Feel free to use one of our many free BBQ picnic areas after the hike!
Plan on a 2-3 hour hike. Please bring a water bottle. Sunscreen and sunhat also recommended.

A lifelong outdoorsman, David Martin (AKA Ranger Pine) has been an Environmental Educator at the Pueblo Mountain Park for the last decade. His passion is connecting people of all ages to Nature. Although his time is mostly dedicated to executing the elementary level education programs and camps at the Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center’s mountain and river campuses, he also writes, teaches and guides hikes on the side, most notably guiding seasonal forages for wild mushrooms and medicinal herbs of the mountain and canyon west.
