Welcome to Arthur’s Kitchen
At Arthur’s Kitchen (named after Arthur Carhart, the USFS landscape architect who first envisioned Pueblo Mountain Park) at Horseshoe Lodge we strive to give you a home-like culinary experience in a unique, one-of-a-kind setting.
We strive to use foods that are produced in Colorado and grown organically. We use a wide variety of whole grains, vegetables, fruits, herbs, seeds and nuts. Vegetarian meals are common fare at Arthur’s Kitchen. When we do serve meat, we aim for sustainably-raised and locally-produced meat. Soups, stocks and sauces are prepared in house from the finest fresh ingredients. We love salads of all kinds, and we love fresh baked breads and other treats warm from the oven. We never use MSG or artificial sweeteners. We do not like products that contain high fructose corn syrup. We aim to delight our guests with food that is both health-promoting and delicious.
We are more than happy to share recipes and visit with you in our kitchen. We will ask for your comments and suggestions. Bon appetit!
We operate a newly remodeled, fully licensed commercial kitchen subject to regular inspection by the Colorado Department of Health and Environment.
You’ll find Arthur’s Kitchen a warm and welcoming place to meet and eat. The aromas of fresh baked breads and savory main dishes will draw you downstairs before meal time has arrived!
